Yeedle Album Cover and Single Clip

Yeedle puts out his album covers and it's certainly psychedelic. Love to hear your thoughts on this cover and the single featuring vocals from his father and Aaron Razel with Yossi Tyberg at the reins of this production.

Jewish Music Review: Siman Tov Mazal Tov

I found out about the sameach music's release of siman tov mazal tov here. After reading the post I decided to get a copy and after listening to it extensively I'm really happy I did. Firstly I truly enjoyed the song selection. Secondly this double album is action packed with 72 simcha and party songs ranging from Israeli to sephardic to chassidic to yiddish and it also features the hit dance song "numa numa". I was told the numa numa song all started with this viral video with over 14 million views, which is quite amusing. This album will make you feel like you just attended a wedding in the 80's and if you love song like these how elese could you get such a compilation? The songs were totally rearranged and feature the usual suspects (musicians) from Israel who performed flawlessly. Danny Flam leads the brass section here as well. In my humble opinion this production by Shliome Zieger is a home run and the song choices are great and fun to listen to. He chose to go with the vocalists that started it all back then:Shlomo Haviv, Avrumi Weisberger, Ari Pollack, Yoel Sharabi, Sandy Shmuely, Roni Ben-Haim, Avner Levy, Gershon Veroba and Meir Sherman. If you really enjoy listening to what I like to call " Jewish Israeli Standards" this is the album for you and it makes a great gift. Rating : 5 stars!

New Jewish Album Release: Six Days of Creation

Courtesy of Sameach Music, here is the latest album to be released shortly. Featuring Ari Boiangiu jamming live along with Yoshie Fruchter, Avrumy Shreiber and Jesse Asher. This live jam session features a real Jewish rock type album. I'm sure this will be a big hit as I've played with Ari and he's a very gifted guitar player.

Latest Jewish Music News

As per shlager.net: Boruch Levine 2 nd album, brought to you by Yochi Briskman, is set to be released around Shavuos. Arrangement credits are Yochi's son, Yanky Briskman, as well as Boruch Levine's himself. Brass section are done by the talented Danny Flam. Lipa Schmeltzer is also finishing up his recording as well and it will feature arrangements by Eli Lishinsky. Yeedle's album information:

Yeedle is approaching the finish line in assembling his fifth solo album. Years of meticulously selecting songs have resulted in a mix of brilliant melodies. He is featuring lively compositions from his father - the inimitable MBD; a masterpiece wedding song by Moshe Mona Rosenblum and MBD; a selection of soulful kumzitz tracks from R' Akiva Homnick & impressively, Yeedle co-wrote several songs with the renowned Eli Laufer.

This track was written by the remarkably talented Israeli artist - Aron Razel. MBD & Aron Razel join Yeedle with original vocals on this sure-to-be-a-hit song. The trio blend is phenomenal! The title of the album is Rikod Rikod. This song is off the charts!! Yeedle and Lipa wrote the lyrics and you will sure be “rikoding” to it real soon.

The dynamic arrangements were created by the masters in this arena: Moshe Laufer, Eli Laufer, Moshe Mona Rosenblum and Aron Razel. All choirs were conducted and recorded impeccably, in Israel by Moshe Mona Rosenblum. Mixing and post-production work has been keeping the maestro Eli Lishinsky real busy. The powerful forces collaborating on Yeedle's album attest to his talent and sophistication.

All fans will be delighted to learn that the scheduled release date is Shavuos time.
